They also manufacture canning machines and bottling machines for the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Measurement Requirements  

Qingdao Beer designed and manufactured a portable system for a Chinese brewery to measure beer, cider, brewed beverages, and other liquids, such as CIP (Clean-in-Place) cleaning agents, to facilitate the transportation of media within the brewery. This compact device is equipped with a flow meter, sanitary process connections, a 240V charger to power the flow meter, and handles for transportation.

In the past, the customer had installed a compact electromagnetic flow meter (EMF) from a certain brand for these devices. However, due to some technical issues with the flow meter, Qingdao Beer sought alternative process instruments as a replacement.

ARTang Solution

Qingdao Beer decided to adopt the Aimag H sanitary magnetic flow meter. This compact ARTang flowmeter is designed for flow measurement of conductive liquids in mobile flow systems, blending skids, and other industrial automation applications. It features a high turndown ratio and high accuracy across each flow range. This flowmeter provides various application and equipment data—volume flow, total flow, medium temperature, and self-diagnostic information, such as low power voltage or exceeding the flow range. This makes the Aimag H highly versatile, suitable for flow measurement in beer, cider, or cleaning agents, as well as for controlling temperature parameters in CIP systems.

The ARTang sanitary magnetic flow meter features a robust, hygienic stainless steel cast housing, connected to the pipeline via hygienic clamps. Considering the hygienic environment of the end-user, the gasket material in contact with the medium is made of hygienic EPDM.
