Electromagnetic BTU meter is a metering device used to measure the flow rate and thermal energy consumption of conductive fluids such as water, steam, oil, etc. Building upon the functionality of a flow meter, the electromagnetic BTU meter incorporates temperature measurement and accumulation capabilities. By integrating an electromagnetic flow meter with a temperature sensor, it measures heat consumption and is widely applied in central heating systems, central air conditioning systems, industrial heating systems, and other fields.
The electromagnetic BTU meter consists of three components: a flow sensor, a temperature sensor, and a thermal energy integrator.

The electromagnetic BTU meter is an energy measurement instrument based on electromagnetic flow meters, designed to measure cooling or heating energy. It is suitable for various media including chilled water, glycol solutions, district heating water, and more, making it ideal for central air conditioning water systems and district heating water systems.
Advantages of the Electromagnetic BTU Meter
Directly displays various system parameters including cumulative heat, cumulative flow, instantaneous flow, supply water temperature, return water temperature, and temperature differential.
The measurement channel consists of a smooth straight pipe section, preventing blockages and eliminating pressure loss caused by flow detection, resulting in excellent energy-saving performance.
The flow measurement principle of electromagnetic heat meters ensures output is proportional only to the average velocity of the measured medium, independent of flow patterns (laminar or turbulent) under symmetrical distribution.
Electromagnetic energy meters feature convenient installation and construction.
